Biography
A good player with a nice touch and some serious pace to burn, James Cooper's largest problem is that people occasionally confuse him with M and M's legend Roy "Coop Dogg" Cooper. Jamie's inability to look up may or may not aid this confusion.
Amazingly, however, said confusion has not stopped him from playing well with Alastair "Secretary of State or Borders Salesman?" Colin-Jones, although it has led to him being banned from ever posting out motivational team emails.
Following his full debut Cooper retired to the college bar full of confidence. As a result of this, on hearing of Ryan Manuel's Olympic-drenched family history, he felt it appropriate to argue that he too had a background of considerable talent, citing as evidence the fact that his mother won "Teen Pin-Up of the Year, 1979" on the back of her role in cult TV classic, Grange Hill.
Despite the fact that the (new) Coop Dogg occassionally forgets that he is playing football and not heads down thumbs up, onlookers of his recent performances have been citing him as the new Eyal Berkovic. Some, dreaming no doubt of his elegant movement, have even awoken to a damp patch on their mattress. This effect on people seems to run in the family.
If it does, it will be the only thing in the family which is running as Mr Cooper has sustained an injury which led to him positively limping into breakfast recently. Fabio ain't amused and has insisted that his doctors check him out, leading to an angry exchange in the press between Capello and Robbie Coleman.
