Biography
Mercurial Laurence McGivern is the former skipper of M&Ms second team. Laurence is best know for Jinky Johnstonesqe runs down the left of the pitch (or the left off the pitch if he is linesman). Like all wingers, Laurence would prefer that football was a non-contact sport.
Laurence is about as Irish as fish and chips, the Tower of London and Morris dancing. His Italian lycra further illustrates this denial.
He wears sun glasses at training, which make him look reeeeeeaallly cool.
Lately Bono has been playing as a ringer under Laurence's name.
It is rumoured that Laurence's favourite band (after U2 of course) are The Who, due to their number one smash hit "Substitute".
